Who I Am
I am a warm, caring therapist with a sense of humor and extensive experience in private practice. I specialize in helping people with problems resulting from anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties at work, in couples and in families. I focus on helping people by seeing the world through their eyes. I have helped adults, adolescents and couples overcome their problems for more than 40 years in individual therapy, couples counseling and family therapy. Whether you have struggled with a lifetime of depression or are trying to save your marriage, I offer services that will help you get back on your feet and into the happy life that you want and deserve.
I am a Fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association, an American Psychotherapy Association Diplomate, a member of the New York State and American Psychological Associations, and Eastern Group Psychotherapy Association. I also have advanced Certificates in Individual Psychotherapy, Group Psychotherapy and Supervision. I have been a senior supervisor and teacher at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health and currently am on The Postgraduate Psychoanalytic Institute and Training Institute for Mental Health Faculties. I have supervised at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies, City University and Yeshiva University and am a Star Factor trained Life Coach. I am licensed in New Jersey (35SI00090100) and New York ( 003449 ).
